The project draws from the historic character of a former Rolls-Royce showroom. The renovation restores key architectural elements, including full-height casement windows that bring in abundant natural light, while reinterpreting the space for a contemporary setting.
Inspired by southern Italy and the Amalfi Coast, the restaurant is organised into five distinct zones—Ristorante, Vino, Pizzeria, Giardino, and Villa—each offering a unique spatial experience.
The Ristorante and Bar form an intimate entry space, defined by rich materiality—Italian marble, timber, brass accents, and velvet seating—anchored by a sculptural chandelier. Vino introduces a more social environment with communal tables and wall-to-wall wine displays, while the Pizzeria adopts a relaxed, interactive character centred around a copper-clad oven and open kitchen.
The Giardino extends into an informal garden setting with limestone surfaces, a water feature, and a retractable louvred roof, blending indoor and outdoor experiences. The Villa, inspired by classical Italian architecture, offers a more private dining environment with arched openings and bespoke detailing.
Designed by Jaimini Patel of Nairobi and James Moore of London, assisted by Ar. Amit Dhanawat and Project managed by Kaushal Sabuwala, this restaurant influenced by Neapolitan street culture, runs throughout—juxtaposing traditional Italian imagery with contemporary graphic expressions.
